Bureau Veritas' 7layers becomes the first OmniAir authorized test laboratory for V2X devices

  • 1st OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratory (OATL) for the Connected Vehicle certification program for Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) based Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) devices, scheduled to launch in October
  • As a member of OmniAir, 7layers participated in developing the Connected Vehicle Next Stage Certification Program, initiated by USDOT

    • Uninterruptible Power Supplies
    • Luminaries
    • Lamps
    • LED package
  • ENERGY STAR® is a joint program established by the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy aiming to protect the environment through energy efficiency products and practices

Curtis-Straus receives Expanded Certification Accreditation Scope from ANSI

  • ENERGY STAR® Program accredited by ANSI to certify the following product categories:
    • Appliances
    • Commercial Food Service Equipment
    • Electronics and Office Equipment
    • Lighting and Fans
    • Heating and Cooling
    • Others (Vending Machines, Water Coolers, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment)

7layers hosted the first LoRaWAN 1.1 Certification Workshop

  • Held on 7 - 8 September for the LoRa Alliance
  • Hosted by 7layers in Ratingen, Germany and chaired by the LoRa Alliance Certification Committee
  • Attended by major contributors on current and future test specifications
  • The 2-day meeting was to prepare the next generation of test specifications for devices that also can support new LoRaWAN 1.1 features such as roaming
