Bureau Veritas to Present the Benefits of Used Oil Analysis at LUBMAT 2016 in Bilbao, Spain

Jun. 3 2016

Bureau Veritas’ Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM) expert will be presenting on the equipment maintenance and cost-saving benefits of used oil analysis on June 8th 2016 at the Lubrication, Maintenance and Tribology, LUBMAT 2016 Conference and Exhibition in Bilbao, Spain.

Sander van Nieuwenhuijzen, Global Laboratory Sales Manager, will provide insights on a case study that illustrates how routinely monitoring equipment and lubricant condition through an oil analysis program saved a chemical plant from costly failure.

Used oil analysis identifies trends in wear and contamination and monitors changes in the physical properties of lubricants and hydraulic oils. Laboratory data analysts can then pinpoint equipment problems in their earliest stages and make informed recommendations that can improve machine reliability, reduce maintenance and repair costs and significantly extend equipment life.

Sander will be presenting the case study, Oil Analysis Provides Information Vital to Determining Root Cause of Water Contamination in Industrial Gearboxes, at 12.25pm on June 8th 2016 in Room C1 at the Euskalduna Conference Centre.

Sander will also be fielding questions and discussing the benefits of Bureau Veritas’ global OCM capabilities and our exclusive Lubricant Oil Analysis Management System (LOAMSSM) software.  LOAMS provides online tools that bring clarity and meaning to complex laboratory results, maintenance recommendations that improve production and save money, and programs and support that foster collaborative customer partnerships.

LUBMAT 2016 covers every aspect of asset management and reliability, condition monitoring, lubrication management and tribology. This conference and exhibition, on June 7-8, 2016, brings high qualified industry professionals together and provides an ultimate platform to network with decision-makers, solution providers, researchers and relevant industrial case studies that help to achieve real-world results.
