Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services India obtains BIS Accreditation for Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS)
 

Noida, India, 16th November, 2015 – Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services has announced its Electrical & Electronics laboratory in India has obtained BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) approval for electrical & electronic products testing.
 

 

CRS is an Indian Government mandatory scheme that is implemented by The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (Diety) for selling electrical & electronic products into the Indian Market.  Currently, 30 products are requiring mandatory approval under the Scheme.

As an approved BIS laboratory, Bureau Veritas’ Noida Electrical & Electronic laboratory in India provides testing for over 20 product categories under the Scheme with plans to expand the scope to cover additional product categories.
