Inspectorate Opens State-of-the-Art Laboratory in Ghent for Coal, Coke, Petcoke & Biomass testing

GHENT (MAY 17, 2017) - Inspectorate, part of the Bureau Veritas Group, are proud to announce the opening of its new testing facility in Belgium for coal, coke, petcoke and biomass. Strategically positioned in Ghent, the new facility is accredited to ISO 17025 and is an integral part of our growing network of flagship laboratories. Important to note that BV Ghent is also accredited to the Belgian accreditation body Belac 393-TEST.
As a leading provider of inspection and testing services on biomass materials, the new laboratory is capable of providing bespoke services and fast turnaround times, made possible by a dedicated team of highly trained chemists. The facility will utilise up-to-date LIMS software to ensure data integrity and complete traceability at all stages of the sample testing process.
This facility has testing capabilities for:
- Solid Fuels including; coal, coke, petcoke
- Biomass including; wood pellets, wood chips, dust and briquettes
- Physical and analytical testing laboratory services
