Inspectorate Achieve ISO 17025 Accreditation for Bitumen and Asphalt Testing in Antwerp

Strategically located in the centre of Antwerp Harbour, our 24/7 laboratory and inspection office has been providing support services for customers requiring independent testing results for bitumen and asphalt since July 2016.

Now accredited to ISO 17025 for testing capabilities to EN 12591 and related standards, Inspectorate is applying the latest equipment and best-practice methods to ensuring the required conformity are achieved for buyer and seller.

Senior technicians from our team in Antwerp led this project from concept to completion and are operating the bitumen testing facility, ensuring fast sample turnaround times and value-adding technical advice for customers.

Inspectorate is engaging in a series of investments and developments in the ARAH (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg) region to continue providing first-class support for our customers, recently adding a 3rd RON/MON Engine in our Amsterdam laboratory.

Inspectorate became a member of Eurobitume at the start of 2017 to support the quality and HSEQ task forces. Eurobitume is the voice of the European bitumen industry, promoting the efficient, effective and safe use of refined bitumen in road, industrial and building applications.
