Bureau Veritas is joining the international maritime community at theConnecticut Maritime Association’s (CMA) 33rd Annual Shipping Conference and Exhibition, March 12-14 2018, in the Hilton Stamford Hotel (Stamford, CT).

CMA Shipping 2018 will build on the success of previous years, gathering more than 2,500 maritime experts from around the world to exchange about current and future issues of shipping industry.

Autonomous Shipping – Tuesday March 13, 9:30 AM, the Glen Rooms

Gijsbert de Jong, Marine Marketing and Sales Director, will be presenting the opportunities, challenges and experiences with the application of autonomous technology in the maritime sector and introduce the key features of the recently published Bureau Veritas guidelines for autonomous shipping. 

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion.

Cyber security – Wednesday March 14, 11:45 AM, Grand Ballroom I

Gijsbert de Jong, Marine Marketing and Sales Director, will be presenting guidelines and best practice on safety and security measures available to manage global cyber threats and enable the maritime industry to bring out the true cyber performance potential.
