Bureau Veritas at FOWT 2018 – Meet us in Marseille, France

Bureau Veritas will attend the Floating Offshore Wind Turbines conference in Marseille - France, during 25th -27th April.

FOWT, the world's largest event dedicated to floating offshore wind, is expected to attract around 1000 international experts this year. The objective of the event is to further the advancement of floating wind and to accelerate its implementation into the global renewable energy mix.

For the occasion, Bureau Veritas will present at the following conference session:

Life time extension for wind turbines – Friday April 27, 01:30 - 03:15pm

Gaël Pouchin, Bureau Veritas’ wind business unit project manager,will present the general principles and methodology for extending the lifetime of onshore and offshore wind turbines.

Bureau Veritas has recently developed guidelines for wind turbine lifetime extension, which include the different steps of a Life Time Extension study (from data collection and inspection to calculation). They provide asset’s owner information to ease decision-making related to the extension of wind turbines‘ operational life.
