Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services establishes a partnership with Quality Lab, a Portuguese laboratory specialized in textiles 

Hong Kong, 16 February, 2016 – Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Quality Lab, a Portuguese laboratory specializing in analytical / physical testing and fiber analysis for the textile industry located in the North of Portugal.
 

This partnership reinforces the footprint of BVCPS in Portugal where textiles is one of the oldest industries in the country, generating 9% of the Portuguese exports. Employing in excess of 100,000 people, the Portuguese textile industry continues to develop and is focusing its efforts on innovative and quality products. 

Founded in 2009 and located in Trofa, Quality Lab has established a strong technical reputation in the textiles industry. Equipped with modern testing equipment, with a team of highly skilled and customer-focused employees, the laboratory can perform physical and chemical testing to assess the safety, compliance and quality of apparel and textile products. Quality Lab is accredited by the Portuguese Institute for Accreditation (IPAC).
