Welcome to our June issue of E.A.W. eNewsletter for the Electrical & Electronics, Automotive and Wireless/Smartworld industry.
This month we feature our NRTL Transfer service, available at no cost to electrical and electronics companies who already hold NRTL certification from another certification body. In transferring to Bureau Veritas, you will benefit from our often reduced follow up inspections (typically 2 times per year instead of the usual 4), recognized mark, complementary services such as FCC, TCB, Analytical Testing and global footprint.
In China, our Guangzhou laboratory has recently been accredited by IECEE as a CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) to perform safety and performance (E3) tests against IEC standards for household appliance manufacturers in South China.
We are also delighted to announce that 7layers, a Bureau Veritas Group company, is the first, 3rd Party Authorized lab to test and certify according to the LoRa® certification program. Additionally, 7layers becomes a member of the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF), further enhancing our leading position as testing and certification solutions partner to the IoT connected devices market.
We finally include the update from the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) who updated its 2016 new Brand guidelines in May. As well as the new logo changing its color from deep blue to light blue, the Bluetooth Smart and Smart Ready Marks are being phased out. With a rich history in testing and certifying Bluetooth technology enabled products, we can support you in all requirements for successful market accesscovering performance, regulatory and Bluetooth SIG requirements.
