Bureau Veritas achieves CTIA Approval for Cybersecurity Certification
• The CTIA IoT Cybersecurity Certification Program will create a more secure foundation for smart cities, connected cars, mHealth and other IoT applications and builds upon established IoT security recommendations
• Applies to cellular-connected Internet of Things (IoT) devices - becoming increasingly important with 5G adoption
• The program will begin accepting devices for certification testing in October 2018
• Our testing verifies that devices meet a security standard outlined by the Certification Program
The KBA designates Bureau Veritas' 7layers as a Technical Service for eCall
• The German Federal Motor Transport Authority approves us as a technical service (category A and B) for eCall Regulation (EU) 2017/79 and UN R144
• eCall is a mandatory regulatory requirement for all new models of passenger cars (M1) to light commercial vehicles (N1) sold in the EU since 1 April, 2018
• We have many years of providing automotive players with a full range of services for smart products with integrated radio components, including Russian ERA-GLONASS certification for both component and vehicle
Bureau Veritas is qualified to test for Wi-Fi CERTIFIED EasyMesh™
• Our wireless lab in Taiwan is now qualified to perform testing for Wi-Fi EasyMesh with respect to interoperability
• Wi-Fi EasyMesh™ is a Wi-Fi Alliance® certification program that brings a standards-based approach to multiple Access Point (AP) Wi-Fi networks
• The Wi-Fi EasyMesh networks provide a consistent level of interoperability between APs and user devices, assurances of Wi-Fi security and accepted protocols, providing high quality of user experience
• We are a Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Laboratory (ATL) for many years and can support a full range of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Programs
Bureau Veritas' 7layers' Interlab® Test Solution DEVICE/UICC is approved by China Mobile
• We are an approved technical partner to perform NB-IoT SIM/SAT conformity tests
• We are also an active member of 3GPP, PTCRB and GCF Working Group and have helped develop the introduction of the new work items for NB-IoT, and LTE CAT-M1 conformity tests and certification
• Interlab handles highly complex test set-ups and verifies terminal/UICC interface and NFC conformance requirements
