Mar. 31 2023

On March 25, Hinda Gharbi, Deputy CEO of Bureau Veritas, and Marc Boissonnet, Executive Vice President Public Affairs and Director of Sustainable Development, participated in TOP Afep 2023. This major business growth meeting provides a venue for large companies to meet with tomorrow’s small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs).

Over the course of the day, the leaders of 40 French multinational groups met with 300 leaders of French SMEs as well as intermediate-size enterprises (ISEs). A total of 800 meetings were held, utilizing a speed-dating format.

Hinda Gharbi and Marc Boissonnet met with 17 promising SMEs and start-ups in various fields. At the heart of their discussions: development, strategy, internationalization and the challenges faced by these companies.

Aiming to help French companies grow, Bureau Veritas teams will follow up with these companies, many of which are in line with the Group's development priorities. These include biogas production and liquefaction, value chain management platforms, air quality management, CO2 storage monitoring, cybersecurity and blockchain-based traceability of agri-food products.

TOP was created in 2017 and is led by Afep (the French Association of Private Enterprises, representing more than 110 of the largest private corporations operating in France). TOP’s goal is to strengthen the bonds between large and small companies. By welcoming leaders of SMEs and ISEs from all over France, French multinationals show their commitment to supporting a productive ecosystem throughout the country.
