Safran entrusts Bureau Veritas with technical inspections for its buildings in France and globally
Paris, June, the 24th. As the International Paris Air Show (Paris-Le Bourget, June 17 to 23, 2019) draws to a close, Bureau Veritas announces that it has signed a framework agreement with the Safran Group for inspections of its technical facilities. The three-year contract will allow Bureau Veritas to work on Safran Group sites in France and abroad.
According to Jacques Pommeraud, Executive Vice President, France-Africa and Government Services at Bureau Veritas: "We're proud to have been appointed as an exclusive global partner for Safran, a driving force in the aeronautics sector. Today, compliance with regulatory requirements is an incredible opportunity for companies to improve performance and—in turn—client satisfaction. We believe in developing services that are more agile and digital-oriented than ever before in a bid to take efficiency to the next level. Drawing on our 75,000 employees in 140 countries, Bureau Veritas will be putting its network of experts and technological leadership to work in meeting Safran's needs."
Under the terms of the partnership, a shared platform will be rolled out for use by the two companies for a more seamless technical inspection process. This tool should facilitate operational implementation for improved performance levels across the board.
The aeronautics sector has some of the world's most stringent quality, safety and security standards. This contract will consolidate the long-standing business relationship between the two companies in areas such as certification, health, training, safety and the environment.
