Bureau Veritas contributed to the Net Zero Initiative project, which is headed by Carbone 4, a leading French consulting agency for energy and climate issues. The project is supported by ADEME, the French Agency for Ecological Transition; the French government’s Ministry of Ecological Transition; and about twenty businesses. Between September 2021 and June 2022, we have co-written the 10 principles that aim to define the basis for a corporate climate strategy. This strategy will be rigorous and ambitious, and it will be based on science and aligned with Paris Accord objectives.
The signatories of these principles, of which Bureau Veritas is one, encourage all organizations regardless of size and sector, to put these principles into practice to build a climate strategy that rises to the challenges we face.
