Singapore’s Best Employers 2022, a ranking of the top 200 companies and institutions with at least 200 employees, was released on April 18 by local daily newspaper The Straits Times and global data firm Statista. A large-scale and comprehensive study that assessed the attractiveness of organisations in Singapore based on an independent employee survey, more than 200,000 recommendations were evaluated and the anonymous opinions of thousands of workers and the scores for hundreds of companies were taken into account to avoid any prejudice and influence. The 200 highest-scoring employers were then tabulated.
The evaluation was based on two distinct criteria: direct recommendations (employees were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family) and indirect recommendations (participants were also prompted to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively).
