Through the strength  of the Bureau Veritas network, EMOp is able to offer this service in the first phase in the following countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom; and for the following equipment: Ultrasound, X-Ray rooms, CT Scanners and most hospital and laboratory equipment.

EMOp provides its know-how and expertise in this specific market to offer this service to both international buyers and European sellers of pre-owned devices.

"Today, many buyers are reluctant to buy this type of equipment sold online or in private sales, as they cannot always inspect themselves (cost / time / price); therefore, many devices are not sold because the seller is unable to provide sufficient information and / or guarantees to reassure potential buyers, "explains Jean-Pierre Cardoso, co-founder of EMOp.

This innovative service offers clear opportunities for buyers and sellers, creating more transparency, improving the economical decision making, whilst reducing the "Time-To-Market ".

"We notice with our customers, that the risk perceived by a buyer is clearly decreased by the delivery of an inspection report, and purchasing selection is more naturally led to a device that has been verified by an independent expert who has validated its authenticity and the technical description provided by the seller. "

This is especially true in the medical market, because we must not forget that behind each medical device, there are patients... ".
