Introducing:
Daiana Marcela Vasselai
In a few sentences, could you describe your career path and your position at BV?
In May 2012, I started working for BV as part of the Schutter Group in Brazil. I joined the São Francisco do Sul branch as an administrator, working with the HR, billing and financial departments. In December of that same year, I received an offer to join the execution department, which verifies the branch's invoicing.
In 2020, I became Supervisor of that division, and after a few months, I was offered the position of Key Account Manager. I am now responsible for two major clients within the organization.
Bureau Veritas offers a comprehensive “Farm-to-Fork” service to help minimize risk throughout the supply chain. How do you contribute to meeting consumer demand for safe, high-quality agricultural products?
My contribution to the process is to carefully check all specifications and guidelines requested by customers. After our rigorous operational and laboratory processes are carried out, I issue certificates for weight, quality and other aspects of food safety required by the country of import. These certificates account for specifications determined by national and international standards.
What is your greatest professional accomplishment at BV? Your biggest challenge?
My greatest accomplishment is knowing that my professional growth within the BV Group is based on a recognition of my skills and the positive feedback of clients. My biggest challenge is balancing adaptability with excellence in my work.
What three words describe your approach to your daily work?
Reliability, promptness and commitment. Clients expect their needs to be met swiftly and respectfully, and their information to be kept private and managed professionally. My goal is to be adaptable and efficient in getting them from the start to the end of a project, in a way that is advantageous for everyone.
